Fleet   : Approx 15 vessels which includes Bulk Carriers and one Oil Tanker
For crew : Crew salary is very less. Good only for beginners. Mostly Non ITF ships. All Indian crew.

For fitters company is very good as salary is very high. Salary for fitters is above one lakh rs.
For officers : Very good for Officers. There is full compliment onboard, so the workload is less. Very good treatment by the office.
Food : Good Indian food.
Internet : No internet onboard. Also email service is pathetic as it has to go via master.
Promotion : Very fast promotion prospects.
Salary : Salary is on the Higher side of the market. Income tax is also paid by the company. So ultimately salary return becomes very high.

Warning : Salary is delayed by almost 3 months. This is the very big drawback of this company, although till date there has been no cases of non-payment of the salary.
Treatment : Very good treatment for senior officers. Behavior of superintendents is very decent.For junior officers treatment is not that good. For crew treatment is not good.
Office support : Good office support on ship related issue. But due to budget constraint issues involving money dont get office attention.

Family Carriage : Family carriage is allowed for senior officers. Best part is joining expenses are paid by the company. So family carriage including 2 kids becomes free of cost.
Ship conditions : Ship are of all age and condition. There are some old ships with very bad condition. Also there are some new ships with very good condition.

Marine Republic Review:

Salary delay is the biggest drawback of this company. So new joiners who r in need of money should avoid this company.

If you are financially well off and ready to take risk, there are many advantages of this company like fast promotion, Income tax paid by the company, free family carriage, good office treatment etc. As it is a big company, chances of non payment of wages are negligible. Its one of the India’s oldest company and there had been no cases of salary cheating.

Also there is no internet onboard, but as ships are mostly on indian coast one gets phone signal most of the time.

Finally, it's a good company with salary problem. Joining this company totally depends case to case.
