How is Apeejay Shipping? Its review and Comments

Name : Apeejay Shipping
Type   :  Ownership Indian Company
Rpsl No. Yes
Fleet   : Approx 6 vessels ,all are Bulk Carriers
For crew : Crew salary is very less. Good only for beginners. Mostly Non ITF ships. All Indian crew.
For officers : Below average for Officers. Salary is very low. Also as ships are in Coastal run, workload is more. Office treatment is substandard for officers. Good shore support in case of any problem.
Food : Average Indian food.
Internet : Paid internet onboard.
Promotion : There is no clarity in promotion policy of the company. Can't rely on company for promotions.
Salary : Salary is on the Lower side of the market. For junior officers salary is very low. Specially for Engineers, salary structure is pathetic. As most of the ships are on Indian Coast, you have to pay Income Tax also. Salary is on time, no issues of payment.
Treatment : Company treatment is very substandard from the Fleet Personnel department. Behavior of superintendents is very decent. For junior officers treatment is very bad. For crew treatment is not good.
Office support : Good office support on ship related issue. But due to budget constraint issues involving money don't get office attention.
Family Carriage : Family carriage is allowed for senior officers.
Ship conditions : Ship are of all age and condition. Mostly are.old ships and condition is bad.
Marine Republic Review:
Its a small company. Being ownership also, its standard is below than management companies.
Ship condition, Salary, Treatment, nothing is of good standard. One can join the company just for short term. You can't look for a career in these type of companies. Senior officers should join only for short duration, otherwise better to avoid.
Finally, you should join this company only if you are looking for short term gain like promotion , short contract etc. Otherwise avoid.
P.S. : Please do not forget to write a review if you have any first hand information about this company.
